The annual fee is payable at the start of the academic fiscal year (July 1).
The faculty liaison is a designated
faculty member who acts as a conduit between the IAP member company and
the Department.
The faculty liaison discretionary is an
earmarked portion of the membership fee that could be spent
towards activities that foster the relationship
between the department and the IAP Benefactor.
The annual IAP Research Open House features
research discussions with faculty, in-depth research presentations and
demonstrations by students on current work, and a lunch that gives an opportunity for more extensive one-to-one interaction with students and faculty.
Exclusive recruiting events, where IAP Sponsor or Benefactor members can present an overview of their company, job opportunities, internships, etc. Such events are usually followed by time for refreshments and an opportunity for networking, sidebar discussions, and resume exchange.
Short courses, tutorials, research overviews, and
seminars by faculty members at the IAP participant's site can be arranged
(upon request and at the participant's expense).
