CS101 Student Work Portfolio

This webpage is an opportunity to highlight some of the outstanding work created by CS101 students, and to give prospective students an idea of what CS101 is all about.

The samples below show some of the projects from prior semesters of the course.

Photoshop Assignment

In this assignment, students learned to "Photoshop" pictures -- that is, to modify digital images to overlay one image on another using layers and masking, and making appropriate color and tonal adjustments.

Flash Animation: Motions

In this assignment, students learned to develop an animation using the Flash toolkit. In particular, the assignment was to create an animation using guided motions to animate the letters in their name.


Flash Animation: Music Video Slideshow

In this assignment, students integrated images, movements, and an audio soundtrack to develop a multimedia presentation.
