You should review your class notes up through last Thursday (10/12) as your primary preparation, and also go through all your homeworks (solutions are online), and review the readings to this point:
- B1, B2 up to bottom of p.707
- Appendix A (all)
- pp.289-301
- Sections 9.1, 9.2
- Sections 5.2, B.4 up to p.731
The kinds of problems you should be able to do are the simpler homework problems, and the problems in the readings. Although you did not do a homework on them, you should also be able to analyze the timing (using timing diagrams such as I put on the board) of SL-latches, D-latches, and D-flipflops. You should be familiar with level triggering (larches) and edge-triggering (flip-flops).
You will have three problems, and have 20 minutes to do two of them.
