I was the founding Chief Technology Officer at Adverplex, Inc. and have
served in that role since the company's inception in 2005.
From 1998 to 2003, I served as an Affiliated Scientist at
Digital Fountain, Inc.,
and I co-authored the digital
fountain paper (in Proc. of ACM SIGCOMM '98) that described the networking applications
and primary benefits of the underlying technology, fast erasure codes.
In the 1990s, I served as an instructor and educational consultant
at Hewlett-Packard, Inc. My primary responsibility was teaching
the Software Job Skills class, a full-time, 17-week retraining
program that gave HP engineers the basis for a new career in
software development.
