What is the AI Journal Club?

The AI Journal Club is a small, informal group meant to bring together those interested in Artificial Intelligence or any of the subfields that have developed from it. In this way, we share our knowledge and end up learning more.

The journal club meets based on the schedules of participants. Members take turns leading an informal discussion on an article of their choice. All members receive the article to read ahead of time and then participate in the discussion. The BU libraries have many AI-related journals to choose from. See our past articles for examples of topics we've covered.

Participants come from a variety of backgrounds and have included students, faculty, research assistants and post-docs from one of several departments at BU, including Applied Linguistics, Biomedical Engineering, Cognitive & Neural Systems, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Program in Neuroscience. Those from other programs are, of course, always welcome.

If you are interested in participating, send us an email or join our mailing list!
