Overview
The Data Management group at BU conducts research on many aspects of database management systems and advanced database applications and data mining, with an emphasis on the algorithmic aspects of the problems. Current projects focus on secure data management systems, multimedia and spatio-temporal databases, social-network analysis, analysis of sequential data, ranking, clustering and bio-informatics.
