Title: "Some analysis of the use of ASPP for ISP load balancing" Abstract: By analyzing public BGP routing tables, we show some statistics of ISP multi-homing, and the use of AS Path Pre-pending in inbound traffic engineering (load balancing). We then study the effect of individual ISP load balancing actions on global network optimality and stability. We will discuss the problem formulation and some preliminary observations.
