Three Computer Science faculty members, Sharon Golberg, Leonid Reyzin, and Nikos Triandopoulos, specialize in cryptography and computer security; many other faculty members study questions related to computer security in a number of different contexts. All are available to advise interested undergraduates.

In addition, a number of graduate and professional courses, master's programs with concentrations in security, and certificate programs are available at Boston University's Metropolitan College. Courses related to security include MET CS 654, 684, 693, 695, 789, 895, MET TC 685, and MET TM 790.
