For Students
Through CS Connections events, we hope to provide our students with
outstanding opportunities to make connections within the industry and
find that perfect job.
CS Connections Events:
The Department will organize regular events which will bring local
and national companies to present opportunities that they have. Up to
three companies will participate in each event which includes:
- A 20-minute block for the company to describe their internship and
career opportunities
- A networking session afterwards to allow you and the company representative
to make direct contact
- A resume exchange
- Come prepared with copies of your most up to date resume to
distribute to the company representatives
- The Office of Career Services
has many resources for resume preparation
For Companies
Participation in our CS Connections program will give your company
access to Computer Science students through one of our departmental
CS Connections events and web page listings.
CS Connections Events:
The Department organizes regular CS Connections events, which enable
students and companies to learn more about each other. Up to three companies
participate in a single CS Connections event. A CS Connections event
includes:
- A 20-minute block for you to describe your company’s internship
and career opportunities
- A networking session afterwards to allow our students and you to
make direct contact
- A resume exchange
CS Connections Web Page Listings: We also invite you to contact us
regularly with internships, fellowships, and additional opportunities
for all levels of students for posting to our CS Connections web page
listings.
To participate in a CS Connections event, please contact Lindsey
Clarkson.
To submit opportunities to students, forward the details to cs-internships
or cs-jobs.
