In conjunction with the 5th IEEE Real-Time Technology and
Applications Symposium
|
Advance Program and Call For Participation
Objectives
The Internet is increasingly being used to support a wide range of
applications that are subject to QoS constraints for proper operation.
This 1-day workshop (preceding the 1999 IEEE RTAS'99 Symposium) aims
at bringing together researchers interested in the design and
implementation of novel protocols and architectures to support the
requirements of such applications in the context of the existing
ubiquitous infrastructure of the Internet.
The Workshop consists of four main sessions on Differentiated
Services, Routing and Channel Access, QoS Estimation and Adaptation,
and Resource Allocation and Integration. Each of the sessions will
feature a set of technical presentations to be followed by a
discussion. The Workshop Proceedings, which will be distributed to all
Workshop attendees, will include all presentations as well as a set of
Project Summaries and Position Statements from Workshop participants.
