Hi,

I've been working hard on the computers here.  Today, we are learning
several commands available on the UNIX operating system.  Mainly, we
are learning about how to manipulate files, which store data, and
directories, which are used to organize those files.

Here are some of the commands we're learning:

  cat
  cd
  cp
  date
  emacs
  less
  lpr
  ls
  man
  mkdir
  mv
  pwd
  rm

Besides those, we're also learning about concepts like:

  file hierarchy
  present working directory
  subdirectory
  parent directory
  text files
  output redirection
  Manual Pages
